The two major drawbacks to using ceramics is a significantly higher cost, and susceptibility to damage under shock loads.

Chester-le-Street is a town in County Durham, England. It has a history going back to Roman times when it was called Concangis. The town is located 7 miles south of Newcastle upon Tyne and 8 miles west of Sunderland on the River Wear.
